My Story
I started Green Phoenix Consulting to give small and mid-sized nonprofits the fundraising support I wish I'd had.
After 20 years as a solo development professional tasked with raising millions—often without staff, systems, or tech—I saw how burnout, inefficiency, and limited tools hold back even the most passionate teams.
Time after time, I watched dedicated fundraisers leave within 18 months—not because they lacked commitment, but because they were overwhelmed.
One person was expected to do it all: grants, events, major donors, reporting, strategy, and planning. Without proper support, the result was stalled revenue, broken systems, and nonprofits struggling to meet their communities' needs.
That’s why I built Green Phoenix Consulting—to provide practical tools that lighten the load.
